Weyn means "where"
It is the first word of every plan in this part of the world. وين نروح؟ Where are we going? We heard it a thousand times in our own group chats, and we watched a thousand plans die right after it.
So we decided the question deserved a real answer. Not a list of fifty places. Not another map of identical star ratings. One good answer, picked for you and the people you are going with.
What we are building
Weyn is an app with a very smart AI at its core. It learns your taste, blends it with your friends' tastes, serves three spots your whole group will like, and lets everyone vote. Around that core: a live map of the city's vibe, lowkey social features, and rewards for exploring somewhere new.
We are starting from Abu Dhabi, our home, and taking every Middle Eastern city next.
Why it matters to us
This comes from our own combined experiences. The cousins we keep meaning to call. The friends twenty minutes away we have not seen in years. We want people to live again, to be social again, and for going out to feel like fun instead of admin.
